Yes, "things" can be both plugins and hosts, but they may have thier own
UI connections. [I'm using UI in the most general sense - ie. things that
control a DSP plugin, but arent plugins, eg. MIDI inputs]

Surely one of the purposes of touch automation is to only present the
(DSP) plugin with the control data it should be using.
