We've focused a lot on the idea that plugins will just use MIDI and ignore
GMPI.  If that is true, what about hosts? All these hosts that are
MIDI-centric wrt their storage now will have to change to support
GMPI-only plugins.

Just something to keep in mind during spec, when this comes up again.
