I meant more work to port from VST.  Removing code is still work.
Assuming a functioning VST version, changing the MIDI-handling code to
GMPI *is* work.  It shouldn't be MUCH work, nor hard, but it is work.

For you.  For people who already have code where MIDI input is handled,
any change from that model means they have some work to do.  As is often
the case, some work now saves you more work later.  But convince everyone
else of that, not me.  I'm the choir on that topic :)
