you got confused. there are no C++ features that rely on atexit. there
are some older non-standard compliant implementations of compilers
and/or C/C++ runtimes that did use atexit(). they are relatively
ancient in computer terms at this point.
Maybe, but the problem exists today on a G5 Mac running OS X 10.3, XCode
1.5, latest Developer Tools etc., and I'm not the only one to report
this :-/
