I haven't done that, yet.  It's on my list.  I'm swamped with emails and
trying to get the GMPI C port done.

One of my big goals is keeping the C++ and C code as symmetric as
possible, which means fiddling with C++.  Fiddling with C++ means learning
a few new tricks. :)
