[gmpi] Re: GMPI ERD

Apple's Audio Units uses the term "Element" to describe components of a plug-in that are individually addressable from the host. Something to consider?

I knew that would come up.  We talked about multi-timbral plugins, but
we
agreed to avoiod using the word "channel".  For lack of a better word,
we
used "slot".  I hate it.  Have a better word?
