No, I didn't see why it wasn't just a host issue either. The problem is
that some interaction between the outside world and the plugin go via
means that the host cant understand, eg. musical data that translates into
parameter changes inside the plugin. The plugin needs to inform the host
that is parameters have changed so that the host can use those changed to
do the touch automation.

At least I think thats the problem anyway :)
