That's been my understanding. Parameters are the things a host/user
can change.
But also things whose change events a plug could emit on its own, for
recording by the host... right?

else than the plug-in user interface. (so what the host need in term of
information to do that in a good way) !?
I think yes - all parameters should have enough information so that a
reasonable UI could be drawn without plugin-specific UI support. That might
include valid ranges, normalized vs. non-normalized hints, units, etc.
I think this is the idea, and the only exception would be blobs since
they'd be too cumbersome to support generically.
- Will the host use that kind of parameter to make automation sequencing !?
That's what we've been saying..
- Will the host use that to propose an alternate user interface or a grouped
used interface with different parameters of different plug-in (e.g. a button
to control the bypass of the reverb aux 1, reverb aux 2 and chorus aux 3....
or a knob to set the gain of the EQ track 1,3, and compressor on track
4,5... in absolute mode or relative mode ) !?.
Why not? - that's just automation...
