I'm starting to think that this discussion is going to deep, and we should
focus on simple requirements, so for this topic I think its just:
Only PCM signals inside the graph (I think that quite uncontraversial)
Maxtrix types should be flagged
Ports should be hinted with the types/channels they process
The actualy mechanism isn't important at this time, and might confuse the
issue.
