Parameters are stored in the host, but plugin has full read-write access
(both actor and custom GUI have that already). So plugin is free to
load/save patches itself, if that's what the maker wants.
The host also has full knowledge of the patch. So the host has no prob
load/saving patches either.
Personally, I feel no compulsion to write my own patch load/save code. If I
need that kind of excitement, I'll just go outside and watch concrete set.
Let the host do it by default. If a particular plugin has it's own patch
load, that fine too.
