Because all this is just detail, it doesn't matter much right now.  But as
I wait for feedbacks on the mini-wrap, it's fun.

As soon as you consider that a channel is more than just a list of params,
a lot of this is moot.  I have swung somewhat to Chris's side, when I
realized that a parameter's path has two main components: it's channel and
it's path.

Now, we might set up an addressing scheme whereby "/channel[0]/osc/shape"
is the fully qualified path to a parameter, but the parameter's path is
really "/osc/shape".  Think of it like a DOS path.  C:\foo\bar.  The path
is "\foo\bar" on the drive "C:".

We don't need to discuss any of this, though it's fun to think about for
now. :)  Whether we do "/channel[0]/osc/shape" or "/channel0/osc/shape" or
"/channel/0/osc/shape" or something else altogether doesn't really matter.
We can define sane semantics for most of them and can write a parser for
any of them.

This is something we really do need to work into our "Mission Statement".
Make life easy for the most people possible.  Simplify the most code
possible.  Usually that means making plugins simpler at the cost of
complex hosts.

So things like a host being able to ACK/NAK a structural change really
might be overcomplicated.  But it complicates only a very small percentage
of plugins...
