hi,
please excuse me for those '=3D20' coming in all my mails. i=20
checked but couldn't find why those are coming.

That wouldn't spread the wrong message, because before=20
distributing the CD's, the audience would listen to Mr. Vijay's=20
talk ;) But anyway, idea is to have the people try the OS,
u may or may not charge.=20

By "Linux philosophy", are you pointing to the Open Source Initiative ?
If yes, you should have mentioned it. then the OSI *do not* use the=20
term "Linux Philosophy". If no, i would like to know more about this
linux philosophy.

wait wait wait .. by the term mass, i never ment the whole world!
that's why i tried to define who all constitute the mass i am talking=20
about. i meant ppl who are on this side of the movement.=20
At present i am doing some literature survey and analysis
on the various licences available, because i find that people out
there are creating a chaos out of all the terms and terminologies
and philosophies. I find such chaos when i read something online
or in a magazine. I myself never paid so much attention to the=20
licenses available and the details behind them. Of present,
as companies are taking on to the FLOSS philosophy, they are taking
extremely cautious steps with the licences.=20
Coming to FLOSS philosophy, that stands for Free/Liberal and=20
Open Source Software. The term 'Free' and 'Open' source are used
together.
From gnu.org:
"Please avoid using the word ``open'' as a substitute for=20
``free software''. A different group, whose values are less=20
idealistic than ours, uses ``open source'' as its slogan. If=20
you are referring to them, it is proper to use their name, but
please don't lump us in with them or describe our work by their=20
label---that leads people to think we are their supporters."
*lump us in with them*
Yet we find that the term FLOSS has become quite popular and is
being used quite often in literature. Vijay, what do you say
on this issue ?
so, i am at present trying to get things clear into my head.
