To Manik and Muthu,
its not correct to lump together everything. For example Sun microsystems
develops both proprietary software and also helps/helped in the development of
OpenOffice.org. That doesn't mean that we should not use OpenOffice.org or
should not talk about it. The same applies to companies like IBM, that have
contributed a lot to the linux kernel, jikes, and other stuff.
When somebody contributes we appreciate.

We _can_ talk about open source as a development model...
