[glug-t] What happened to the GLUG-T

Hey, what happened to the GLUG-T?

I have sent a lot of mails to the list and didn't get a single reply to any of
my mails. I had asked about the Coordinator meeting, I had asked about the next
GLUG meet.... It wasn't really hard to answer!?

I did an 'urgent' request for books before Thursday, I didn't get any reply
from you guys, I had to call Madhav a couple of times and SMSed both of
them(Manick and Madhav), after which Madhav finally sent the books on Friday.
And I am yet to receive it. The event that had asked the books for is now over.

Vimal had made a request for books. And according to his mail he did not get
any correspondence after that. And after a lot of calls and SMS' the books were
sent on Friday.

I have the sudden feeling that the GLUG-T is in its death bed. :(

Why is this?

You know something guys, I was at the Linux Festival today, and when I
introduce myself to people, saying that I am from Trichy... they ask me, "Are
you one of those who did the GNU Manifesto Translation?". Saha told me that the
video conference that we did, made big news in many mailing lists. One of the
free software activists told me, "You guys did a great job, printing those
books." And I was at ILUGC monthly meeting last month. It was like we did a
even better job at Trichy than these guys were doing. And today I received a
mail from Jayaram College of Engineering, asking us to give a seminar on
GNU/Linux and they were willing to offer meeting place for our meetings.

With all this success, and even more, I feel the GLUG-T has accomplished a lot
more than many other GLUGs in this part of the world. And when I realise that
the GLUG-T is crawling and struggling to survive, my heart is filled with mixed
feelings of grief and anger...
