I said we share a vision and it essentially means just that ,we are not RMS fan 
club(unless you are trying to make one out of this group).RMS is of course our 
source of inspiration but we are not concerned about his every activity.(Like 
if he hates W. bush or loves him, is not a matter of our concern).Of course 
when he comes to India and talks about free software listening to it might 
benefit us.That is why we are willing to go to Trivendrum.But certainly we do 
not want any lectures on world politics from him.

But before you added these lines your earlier mail was nothing at all related 
to GNU/Linux.But i must tell you, even these lines doesn't justify  the purpose 
of your earlier mail.

Finally no matter how much these people at WSF shout they have done no help to 
poor except some lectures on ANTI-GLOBALISATION.today i see, former US sec. of 
external affairs(may be i do not remember the  designation) ridiculing US govt 
policies but when he was in power himself loved to play god..consipring 
assassinations.Even A.Roy writes(DO TURKEY ENJOY THANKSGIVING..the hindu)..

And those without power has to raise thier heads so that people can know they 
do exist..

The arguments can go on the relevance of WSF and whether we should welcome 
globalisation or ridicule it..there are pros and cons to be discussed..But i 
believe that certainly this is not the correct platform to do so..

And that was puspose of my earlier mail..but it seems that you missed the point 
completely..

PS:i do read newspapers Vijay and i guess i spent more time on it than you
(ET,HINDU,BUSSINESS LINE,TOI)..Nothing personal..but this is perhaps true..
