Hello Everyone,
Yesterday I downloaded some stuffs from internet. When I
tried accessing the file from samba, it wasn't listed at all! The
downloaded file had permissions 644. I changed the permission to 775,
it still didn't list.
When I copied the file into same directory, it listed it. My
umask is set to 022. This problem has also occured in another
situation. I moved a file into /var/www/html,it didn't list it. When I
copied the file to the same directory it was listed. Can somebody
explain why this happens?
Regards,
Allagappan
