Dear Bala,
  First of all i think it is not the part of IPTABLES. why ?
  whenever a error is "PORT UNREACHABLE" then it should be the misconf. of 
IPtables. so here i think please check whether u have given the correct ip 
parameters & check for the physical connections.

Recently i formatted our server and installed FC5 on it and
post-installation i logged into root and disabled some unwanted services and
configured network giving IP, subnet mask and Gateway. Now, i can access all
the other systems and servers on the network from ours but when i try
accessing our server form other sstems on the network even pinging return
"Destination Host unreachable".

The worst thing is when i ping from the same server, it says unreachable
host. :-(

Please suggest some solution.
