[glug-t] Posters in colleges, cybercafes

One way to build awareness about our GLUGs is to 'advertise' the same in places 
like colleges and cybercafes.

As part of the plan to build awareness about the activities of ILUG-Goa, we 
have started preparing posters announcing the LUG and its activities, meetings, 
URLs etc. These posters are created in GIMP, and are being put up for download 
as JPG (or GIMP) files.

It's very cheap to do so, even if one has to use an out-of-home infrastructure. 
Rs 5 for an A4 printout. Rs 1 to 2 (depending on quality and colour of paper, 
we use pink paper) per photo-copy for reproduction.

In addition, Laxminarayanan Kamath of Mangalore has also helped create a rather 
neat and attractive in-colour poster -- there was some difficulty in uploading 
this last night probably because of its larger size, between 400-800K.

Incidentally, Kamath is actively considering putting out his work in copyleft 
format, which means that *his* posters can be adapted for local use by your LUG 
without too much trouble!

If you can help to print-out and paste these (or similar) posters in your 
college, cybercafe or any other place where to-be geeks are likely to notice 
it, kindly do so.
