[glug-t] Re: PenguFest , the mass installation festival

hello ppl ,

Seems evo  has taken the pains to write a long mail , but one thing is
apparent , Seems whenever he  gets a chance to pull our legs ( me and
usaco ) he never missed it .

Anyway this mail has no more blah blah , coming straight to PengNufest .

I am ready to take be the part of advertising commity ( do we have
commities here :P ) , though i am sure each and every glugt member
will be doing some advertisment .  I mean no one will say Linux is bad
, dont install that to your juniors ( or even your seniors ) right ?

I really dont get what
"the most popular senior ... u r not in the
tech side and not have his phone no... and thereby , most of the
juniors phone no. are with aadu .." means .

I have got a few juniors no's but what do you mean by "u r not in the
tech side"
What is the tech side in regard to Pengufest ?

"rumors from well placed sources.. ;)" LOL , thanks for mentioning it
as a rumour :P

Dude i mentioned pragyan coz people (especially those in dalal street
like me sahil and verma ) have hell a lot of work to do . I think you
know that too :(

And we are not going to miss KDE just coz it is slow . Anyway when we
install amarok we  will be installing almost all the kde base packages
coz amarok depends on KDE libs . So i donn think it will be a bad idea
to install KDE which is gonna take few more MB's

One last question

There was a plan to create a custom made distro for GLUG-T so that we
can install that instead of FC or Ubuntu , so that it includes
everything a college student needs . Is that plan still there . Can we
do that for our PenGNUfest .
