Not really sure of whether we should install games at all...
i mean check out the facts: CS , there can be only one linux player on
the lan...
how many ppl spend their time playing games in linux...

consider the glug-t , for instance, the core users of linux and blah blah...
among all of us, only one guy ( sahil ) alone plays games in linux...
not that others dont play ... a handful of others too play but on
windows where its less complicated.... 9btw, less is an
understatement)

 Ubuntu and Fedora , of course ... Suse , will be rare... yet we'll
have it ready...Since it is compatible with the Fedora core rpms , it
will not be an issue

Jan 13th and 14th or the weekend next to that would be ideal...
we cud hold it in octa , itself ... we've enough lan wires there ....
i'll come to the issue of pradeep's permission later on...

why the necessity for the 2 or the 3 week gap is for the response from
the ppl... we need to know the no. of ppl for arranging bus...

This is dependent on the no. of ppl enrolling for the penGNUfest...
this is where i feel the advertising comes to the fore really and ppl
like aadu ( also , to be mentioned , is Viv ) with tons of contacts
can help us inspite of his busy schedule...Aadu, u know whom all i'm
referring to , right ;)

       the poster designing should be given to sahil , he has great
contacts with the juniors...
     probably , he can catch hold of some nice designer....

    i'll take up the job of arranging for permission from pradeep and
the lan wires...(if anyone else wants it , then ur most welcome :)

    i guess the advertising committee would consist of the foll. ppl (
in the order of popularity,  and their acquaintance with the juniors ,
no hard feelings , this is the truth )

     1. Aadu alias hari ( the most popular senior ... u r not in the
tech side and not have his phone no... and thereby , most of the
juniors phone no. are with aadu ...)
     2 . Viv  ( apparently lots 've come knocking on his door and his
mobile seems to be constantly ringing with calls from juniors, for
reasons, occasionally , relating to linux and some rumours about
certificates for the juniors... the majority , u know wat ; )

it would be unfair to say that aadu and viv have taken the entire
junior phone no...their cell phone memory isnt that large , according
to rumours from well placed sources.. ;)

     3.  Sahil ( the one guy who , works , day in and out for linux
and of course, ***gyan )
         He could advertise this amongst his contacts thru ***gyan..

Well, these are the core advertising members, they have the
responsibility of spreading penGNUfest amongst the juniors and making
sure they spread it amongst their friends

Wait a sec, i've been mentioning only juniors... sorry , Viv, seniors
too , i'm counting on u...
P.S . seniors includes PGs too...

    Transportation , will be based on the response , to this , mass
advertising :D,

Any other issues , we'll discuss it here...
