In the last meeting I came up with a suggestion of having a printed monthly
newsletter.
The idea is that we donot have a way to keep in touch with the free software
community. Mailing lists work only partial, because not many people have direct
access to the internet nor do they maintain a mail box. (The keep changing their
mailid often.) This makes it hard to inform people about our activities and
meetings.
One way to solve this problem is to have a monthly newsletter that will contain
the previous meeting minutes and the next meeting information. To encourage more
people to subscribe to this service we will have GNU/Linux news, tips, and other
stuff as well.
It will cost about Rs.120 a year including the postage charge, xerox charge,
etc.
What do you say guys?
