Really...
In Redhat-9.0 nothing related to customizing menu is there in Main
menu.. It seems that you r using Redhat-7.3 or something else..

Well as for muthu...i will advise gconf editor...
check out..
main-menu->system-tools->more system-tools>configuration editor...

I can't give you exact details now coz it depends upon how much you and what you
want .....
