Dear friends,
I have installed j2re in my machine and configured mozilla and firefox
for enabling JVM. It was working fine. Recently I have done a fresh
installation in my machine. When I tried to enable JVM for mozilla
after JRE installation, I couldnt succeed.
With reference to http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.4.2/install-linux.html I
tried to register JVM for mozilla, using both the manual and automatic
registration. I could find the libjavaplugin_oji.so file in mozilla
plugins folder. when I restarted mozilla browser, I couldnt launch it.
when I started mozilla from command prompt without any information, the
control comes to next prompt. I mean
$mozilla
$_
When I given firefox I got the following message
INTERNAL ERROR on Browser End: No manager for initializing factory?
System error?:: Success
$./firefox
INTERNAL ERROR on Browser End: No manager for initializing factory?
System error?:: Success
$
My distribution : Mandrake 10
JDK is working fine
Whats happening? any clues?
Your help will be highly appreciated :)
