[glug-t] Hacker Crackdown

Hi folks! 
At GLUG-T we are planning a 'Hacker Crackdown' spanning around 5-7 days  
with lecture sessions for 2-21/2 hours per day. 
 
The aim of this course is to raise the level of developer skills, 
and enhance it to enable contribution to free software projects  
easier. 
 
At a informal discussion with Ramasamy  we hit upon a few interesting 
and necessary topics which will be included for the course. 
 
1 Linux Kernel Device Drivers,  
2 MONO, the free .NET framework 
3 Bonobo,and the GNOME component model. 
4 KParts, DCOP, and the KDE component model. 
5 GUI Hacking with GTK.  
6 GUI Hacking with Qt. 
7 Embedding Guile into applications, for adding scriptability.  
  A case study of GIMP/Scheme. 
8 i18n, l10n, GNU Gettext: HowTo. 
9 Writing Plugins for real world applications. eg: XMMS plugin 
A CVS, GNU Autotools, writing RPM Specs. 
 
Enrollment will be open to all, and might involve a minimal fee, to 
set right GLUG-T defecits and what it owes to one person. 
 
You will be informed about the commencement of enrollment, and
