I went thru many of the unicode, tscii holy wars on the net. I have no
preference of my own. The AkaramTeX editor that I got used TSCII, so I had no
choice.
But now I use neither of them! All my primary tamil text is a phonetic
transliterated format of itrans. Which finally gets translated to whatever is
required.
