[glug-t] Configuring wifi from debian etch

hi ,
i have debian etch installed on my laptop and i want to configure it for
bsnl dataone with wireless router .
I tried ifconfig and it shows only ethernet and no wirless detected.
what can i do about it now ?
here is my ifconfig output
