[glug-t] Booking a domain

hi all,
         We are looking to have a full fledged GLUG-T website with its
own domain glugt.org .
Where can we book it cheapest ? and the payment means .Since most of
us here are students ,credit cards might not be easy to find .Bank
(account to account transfer) seems the easiest way .Anyone knows a
ideal place to book with these conditions ?
and we are also happy to tell you that kerala-space.org has been kind
and generous enough to give us some hosting space .

It would be great if anyone of you can tell me how to book a domain
without creditcard option .
any place i could just go ,pay the cash and get it done ? i am in
chennai at the moment and would be in trichy in 2 days.any such
facility in and around trichy ?
