The patch works fine for me now, and the phantom
stones are readily removed. Thanks!
My own preference is to view the game with no
variation marks at all - the brother/son counter in
the bottom right is all I use. However, for those who
use the "edit - number variations" option, I notice
that the variation numbers don't display quite right.
They float over the gridlines (instead of erasing a
small area), and they appear in either black or white
text. Pull up a reivew from the GTL and you'll see
what I mean.
KJD has similar display problems. This struck me as
odd, since I had all the variation markers turned off,
and I thought that the marks included in KJD were
normal editing marks. This may be a KJD-specific
problem: there was a thread on rgg about display
problems with it.
I'm using the 2D board, so all these comments refer to
that.
