That output is the list of channels, yes, but the command on IGS is "yell" 
you can type either yell \33 or ; \33 to enter chan 33, or you can click 
the button in gGo's terminal window to open the Channel window and enter 
tha channel number there.  For private chats, there is the Chat window, or 
the IGS command "tell".  There are help files for both yell and 
tell.  Hopes this helps you out,
