It does seem , does it not , that we are in a bind over proving
geocentrism without in the process, requiring a re-examination of some of the
basic precepts of generally accepted science.

The two real time observations incompatible with our position are the
geostationary satellite, and also the "gyroscopic reaction" we see which
science would say has to be due to a real earth movement towards the east. It
is unchallengeable that if a flywheel is spun on an axis at right angles to the
axis of the earth directly over this axis at one of the poles, facing the sun
for example, this wheel will appear to rotate following the sun, once every 24
hours.

In support of their reasonable acceptance of this proof, it can be
demonstrated that if a similar flywheel is rotated attached to a rotating
turntable in a laboratory, it likewise will remain stationary and face the same
radial, whilst the turntable revolves below it.

We as Christians have good reason for this re-examination, and we know it
cannot change what is observed, but merely merely change the why it is
observed. Our opponents on the other hand do not have any reason to do any
re-examination, simply because everything fits in with their practical
approach, to the exclusion of God, and/or His Bible, and simply because again,
it works. It does not appear to them that anything can be gained in the
advancement of science to change direction.

We are in the very small minority. But one might say that every really great
advancement in science was achieved through minority faith.

Steel ships floating, The wright Bros aircraft, and even rocket science and
space research, came about by the "few" who bucked the establishment. Everybody
and his dog tried to debunk Radio, when it was a proven reality.. The waves
would kill people...etc..(something prophetic there) There seems to be no
lesser charity in the hearts of jealous academics, than in that of all greedy
men, who see their worth threatened by true genius.

But our being a minority cannot destroy a very important truth that is on our
side. And that truth cannot be denied. No, I'm not going to say the word of
God, true as that is. The great TRUTH that I refer to is the uncertainty, the
"theoretical uncertainty" upon which they base most of their conclusions. We
can claim without fear of contradiction, that all of their conclusions are
based upon theoretical assumptions which they cannot prove. Majority rule or
acceptance does not apply in discerning truth. Gravity can be pull or push, no
matter what the majority call it.

If they all by majority turned around and accepted the aether as a reality,
with as much faith as they do the current cosmology of science, who can imagine
how much advancement in science such would cause?... Time will tell...

  Philip.
