Tell me -- did you read the Da Vinci Code? Either way -- what are your thoughts?

I had a quick look at your site but it is a video. Remember I said I wasn't
interested in videos because of time and volume?

You may not recall but you and I have been down this route of my site/your
site in the past. I think you've come to the conclusion that when we look at a
tree, you see a poplar and I see a conifer. I doubt that that is going to
change but I live in hope. |[:-)

You also asked Regarding this rehearsing how many times did Armstrong test
fly the LEM? If he did how did they simulate flying in 1/6th gravity? Speaking
from memory, I think what they did was use one (or more) motors to provide
fixed thrust equal to 5/6 ths of the weight of the vehicle with other motor(s)
under the pilot's control. This allows learning how the vehicle responds to
changing thrust provided by a motor whose thrust is way less than 100% of the
vehicle's mass but more than its weight differential. It was a complicated
machine! Also from memory, there were more than 200 flights made by just the
first two of five vehicles. If you were the responsible officer in NASA, would
you have been satisfied with just one unsuccessful flight undertaken by the
first luna lander pilot?

Now -- 'A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Moon'?. No I haven't seen it
but I have read critiques of it and discussion about it. I think I've got
enough information to justify my present opinion. It was Bart Sibrel wasn't it?
I think it was. I'm sorry Jack but this guy is living in another world. But
thank you for your offer anyway.

Tell me -- did you read the Da Vinci Code? Either way -- what are your
thoughts?
