"sour answer" is probably closer to the truth than we'd like to admit

Should it ever happen to you, this is what it means.

The newslist software is configure to allow posts to grow only so big.
When the message gets really big the message will "bounce" with some
sort of message about over quiting limits or something. What this means
is that you message did not go through and it was returned to you. What
you need to do then is go back to your message and trim out all the
previous posts that have been repeated every time the message is passed
back and forth. We should be trimming our posts anyway to keep them as
small as possible while including only enough of the previous message
sour answer makes sense.

Remember too that we should only be sending messages to the list as text
and not HTML format. The list fusses a little bit with html messages but
it does not kill the message totally.
