If people don't want to wait that long, I could arrange to get them from
you, and get them to people at a lunch or something. (We could plan an
Official Tick Remover Distribution Lunch.)

Ok, I guess I'll volunteer to get an order together from Jeffers. If
everyone is agreeable and can wait until the summer picnic to get them, I'm
planning to attend and could get them to you then. Since the email list has
been known to play tricks and to make it easier to keep them straight, email me
directly at showme69 at yhti dot net.

I checked their list of suppliers. Jeffers has 3-packs for $5.91.
Hypothetically, if you could get 24 people to order (8 3-packs), with
shipping, the cost for each one would be $2.26.

What would be the approximate price after shipping?

Maybe we could place a group order. If all of us who want one
get them at the same time, we could get them cheaper. Who's in?

There is no way I spent $10 on mine. I know I shopped around
and I'm positive I spent less than that for 2 of them, and that included
shipping. It is well worth it. It only takes seconds to remove the tick from
a squirly kid. :)

Holy cow! Ten dollars for a measuring spoon with a notch in
it if you only
buy one. I think I'll experiment and try to make my own.
Looks like it would
                work well.
