I have been slowing been getting the applications back on the computer
after my little computer escapade a week or so ago.

Today I needed to print some maps of an area to look at the layout of a few
caches in a park in Kansas.

"Mapsource cant be found" it said so I thought i would just reinstall it.
Multiple "Error transferring data" messages, then a nasty crash. Multiple
times.. Arrg. Dig out Street Atlas 2004 something..

I have spent the better part of the day trying to get this thing to work.

Finally figured out how to import waypoints from GSAK into SA. There has
to be a way to change the icons of the waypoints and the text labels of the
icons but i just havent figured it out yet. SA has about the most
non-standard, funky interfaces i have ever seen but at least i can see the
waypoints on the map.

I think next i will figure out how to hake a clickable map that will open
the cache pages like Steve Brown does. That should take me the rest of the
year.

looks like a nice day to be out.
