We didn't feel comfortable parking our car next to the concrete barrier and 
walking through the abandoned
rest areas.  We walked double time, especially since we were worried about 
being ticketed or being seen
from the hospital buildings.  There is a walk path and bench on top of the 
hill, but I think you get to
it from the hospital and not from down below.

But it is a neat area.
