A cache ... under some branches. Ingenious.

At our hayride, a kid (not ours!)lost one of our walkie-talkies. He told
hubby, "But if you take me back to the woods I think I know EXACTLY where I
dropped it." Back they went. On the way Tom asked him, "Was it at the top
of the trail .. or the bottom..." and the kid said, "I can show you EXACTLY
where it is. (pause) I think it's near a tree by some leaves." Of course,
the same kid had turned the volume down because he was annoyed that the
adults kept calling him.

So far our deer are safe. We've heard rumors there's an "albino" deer in the
area. Everyone's hoping to get a look at it. The 3-legged deer seems to have
disappeared. Sure do miss those virtual caches .. I'm certain mutated
deer would have counted for something. (Obligatory geocaching reference.)
