All my files are on cards. None in main memory.

It is like Windows and Unix I guess. Each will prefer a different set of 
variables. I like to write to the cache log with cachemate, Impossible with 
Plucker. When I get home, I dump it into a text file and then cut and paste. 
Plucker is read only. Perhaps a feature you don't use, several others might 
use. Just a thought...
