Tim,
Don't feel bad. My parents live on Rabbit Trail, just up the street from the
cinema and they can't get DSL either.

I don't think we have an office out here but we are going to check. Pam
talked to them on Tuesday and they where going to find out when it might be
available and call her back, they still haven't called just like the guy last
week Friday we are still waiting for him to call us back also. They need some
competition!

  Tim,

Have you tried talking to the local office? I called Embarq and they kept
telling me that DSL was not available where we are .....finally I called the
local phone office and the lineman that waited on me said "No problem, all I
have to do is flip a switch in the box" ...I asked if he would do that and he
said yes he would ...then he gave me the number of the main office and told me
I had to call that same day. I called the main office ...they looked and said
...yeah it is available and poof I had DSL ......my neighbor went through the
same process and now they have it.....but if anyone else in this area calls the
Main office they are told it is not available in our area yet. Sometimes it is
not that it isn't available in an area but rather that the main office has
decided it is not available (if you know what I mean)
