Since GPS is only receiving signals, i'd imagine it would be ok. I wouldn't
use the radio portion of it though. I'd ask the gate attendant when you
arrive to board, he/she will tell you if you can use it or not. If you can't
you can just throw it in the wife's purse or in the carryon.
