As I started reading this story, I was feeling pretty sorry for the guy. And
even had a moment of anti-gummint outrage course through my veins at the
reports of the judge's treatment of the guy......until I noticed the dates
involved.
This all occurred on 11/9/2001. Barely 60 days post 9/11.....when paranoia
of further terrorist attacks was still running at a *fever* pitch. Given the
time frame and recent events, playing with ammo cans in such a location was
not exactly the brightest move in the world.
