- Saint Louis Skeet and Trap is in Eureka Mo. about 3 or 4 miles south of I-44 from the Six Flags exit. I would suggest going out with one of their 'trap-boys' the 1st time, they can tell you the correct 'leads' (where you should point the gun to hit the bird) before each shot, and give gun handling tips on form. It is the best way to learn, rather than the frustration of missing and guessing where to shoot. It looks like they are reconstituting the old Gateway Gun club off I-370 (trap houses have been refurbished recently) but I have yet to see anybody shooting there on my way to go duck hunting .
