[GeoStL] Re: Windows Mobile geocaching app - FREE!

"But I already have cache mate. What can this thing do?"

A lot of neat stuff really. Cachemate with mobile 10x is a hard combo to beat but it takes a little planning to go on a trip.

NO SO with GCz. No advanced planning required. All you need it a windows mobile based smartpone.

You can hop out of the car anywhere, press the "nearest caches" button and you will have a list of caches to look at. (You can also search a million different other ways too.) Want a map? You can throw your list of caches on a map and see where they are. Need to get there? Use the directions from the google map to navigate to the cache. Want to read the cache description, logs, hints? They are right there. Now that you are close you can fine tune your location with the "radar screen" find the cache and log it right from the app.

It really is a neat little program. It is pretty much the iphone app written for the PPC.

I like it and use it.

Thanks for the reminder about this cool app Gary.
