[GeoStL] Re: Where's the sun?

I was backpacking down on the Ozark Trail (Tom Sauk Mt to John Shut Inns)
and only got a little sun all weekend. It came out about 10 minutes today.
But no rain until we got to the Johnson Shut Inns. (But we were in the
clouds some.) The colors were at their peak and everything was really
beautiful.

I placed my 95th Cache yesterday and it is going to take a minimum of a
15-mile hike to do it.

Unfortunately, I struck out for the second weekend in a row in reaching
300. By time I got to Johnson Shut Inns, I was pretty tired and it started
to rain. Did not seem to be a good combination to be attempting a cache
like the Extreme Shut Inn Cache. So it is to plan C for number 300.

This gloomy, wet weather makes it tough to go caching. I have two new
caches ready to place, and hope to get them out this weekend. I need a
sunnier day to set accurate gps waypoints for the caches. Oh well, they can
wait. The sun will come out . . . eventually.
