Well darn, we left just a short time before that and must have just missed ya. It looks like a pretty nice area to play in the water. I think it is time for us to move off the Meramac River (which I don?t really care for) and visit the Black and Current Rivers again. We have been trying to get over to Montauk for over a year now for a little caching and camping. I think we are getting closer. :-) Glenn -----Original Message----- From: geocaching-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:geocaching-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx]On Behalf Of Pam Ueltzen Sent: Monday, June 24, 2002 7:28 AM To: geocaching@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [GeoSTL] Re: We SURVIVED What time did you depart Blue Springs yesterday? We were there around 12:30. The weather was great, the river was moving well enough to goof off PLENTY and still get a 10 mile float done from 11:30 to 6PM. JoA decided to stay back in camp and enjoy the peace and quiet while Jordan, the DRIFTER and myself played on the river. Lots of nice folks were out on the river this Saturday and I said I wouldn?t go into detail about the ?Party Flotilla? full of dancing girls so I wont. I haven?t seen the play but I guess they were doing excerpts from ?The River Dance?. :-) As usual, the sunsets were picture perfect and the mornings were nice and cool. The BBQ was great AND we checked on the Blue Springs Creek Cache. We had a dandy good time. ** Glenn
