OK, it sounds like there is something "corrupt" in the database that is 
trying to be opened.

To get GSAK started again you can just rename the folder with the same 
name as the database and GSAK will then create a new database with zero 
caches in it.

You can then populate it again by loading gpx files or restoring a known 
good backup of the database.

The folder to rename is the same as the database name and resides in the 
"data" folder of the install folder of GSAK (Unless the data folder was 
set differently via Tools=>Options=>General)
