St. Louis County workers were out overnight spraying
for mosquitoes after a 40-year-old Bridgeton man
contracted the West Nile virus, officials said.

The Bridgeton man is reportedly in good condition
and is predicted to completely recover by the
potentially deadly disease normally contracted
by infected mosquitoes. He spent a couple of
days in the hospital because of the virus.

The man's contraction of the virus is the first
case of West Nile in Missouri this year.
