Since geocachers have such a presence in the St. Louis County Parks, please
consider joining the St. Louis County Parks "Trail Watch Volunteers".
The Trail Watch Volunteers help the Park Rangers, serving as extra eyes and
ears, by reporting trail conditions, safety hazards, lost persons or
suspicious activity keeping our 80 miles of trails safe and enjoyable for
all. Volunteers, ages 16 and older, will be trained in trail etiquette and
reporting procedures. They will not be asked to intervene in potentially
dangerous situations, only report them. If anyone has an interest in
volunteering, join our Trail Watch Team by emailing khartzke@xxxxxxxxxxxxx
or call 314-638-2100 for an application and to register for a short two hour
training class.
