I would not say that it is odd, I would say that it is the norm for some 
people.  
Just last weekend I went out the the cache, Prehistoric Find out in Mastodon 
State Park near Imperial Missouri, the cache page said that there were 2 jeeps 
in it and the past logs said that they were missing.  I, too could not find 
them.  
It seems as if someone is hording them.  
Maybe you found the culprit.

 has retrieved a white jeep from a cache of ours. What was odd is that it was 
logged as being retrieved from our Meramec Cave Tour, but this user has not 
logged that they found the Meramec Cave Tour cache, just that they picked up 
the jeep from there.
Out of curiosity I check the user stats and find that it says the member has 
only been a member of groundspeak since 10-18-05 and has no logged finds, but 
has 4 white jeep travel bugs still in their possession.

Is this odd?
