It would probably be easily enough controlled via limiting Comment posting
capabilities to registered users......who would risk being banned for
posting dastardly comments.

Keep in mind....currently nobody has to 'register' at the site to view
*everything* that's there. That's probably going to change in the not too
distant future. Some parts of the site will continue to be accessible to
all, some will require user registration for viewing. When that occurs, we
would *hope* being a registered member would be valuable enough to deter
folks from getting out of hand.
