I like my PowerX 2700 ma  They last longer than any other battery I have
used.  There is more to it than just the ma

 

I think a quality charger also makes a difference.

What is the latest and greatest in rechargeable batteries?

I've been using the basic Energizer 2500mah nimh batteries and most of them
are nearing end of life. I mostly use them in the GPSr and digital cameras.
